Liz Montgomery CA
Since 1998 when she started working in accounting practices, Liz has worked in general practice building a broad and varied experience. She has always taken the view that you look after the people and the business side becomes easier. As a Lesmahagow girl, Liz is keen to give back to her community and is a trustee of Lesmahagow Development Trust.
Jeanette Brindley
Jeanette has a variety of experience in different industries including running her own Public House business in Wales and being the local bank manager in Lesmahagow for a number of years. After early retirement from the bank Jeanette was looking for her next challenge and joined us in 2014. Jeanette runs our payroll bureau and does book-keeping and vat processing for clients.
Sandra Montgomery
Sandra is in charge of our bookkeeping and payroll. Coming from a health/caring background, Sandra brings with her a wealth of life experience in client service that is invaluable for EM Cubed Ltd.
Nadine
Nadine joined us in 2023 having previously worked for a traditional law practice in Glasgow, she has a couple of kids that keeps her busy when she’s not working and provides payroll and admin support to the team.
Paul
Paul joined us in February 2026 when we acquired his practice MRA accountancy which was based in Lanark. Paul has worked in accountancy for a long time and was Liz’s training senior when she started back in 1998.
Nipuna
Nipuna came to work with us in March 2026 initially combining his studies with working for us. He works in accounts and tax and has made the commitment to move to Lesmahagow to live and work.
Ellie
Ellie is our newest addition, she currently comes in after school on a Friday for a few hours as she wants to pursue accountancy as a career. If we can’t put her off nothing will.
About Us
The company was set up in 2005 by Liz Montgomery our director. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2002 Liz decided to set up the company after working for various different sizes and types of practices. With over 20 years’ experience in working for and running accountancy practices Liz admits that no two days are the same. "Every client has different needs and it is figuring out just what makes a business and its' owners tick that keeps things fresh." Each client is treated like an individual and their advice is tailored to meet their distinct needs. Since moving to our current offices in Lesmahagow, we have added a several team members.
